Certificate of Insurance Requirements
LiftMarket may require evidence of active insurance before approving credit, reserving equipment or scheduling delivery.
The certificate should show the insured’s full legal name and address, policy number, effective and expiry dates, insurer, broker/agent contact, insured operations and applicable project or rental locations.
Required coverage
- Commercial General Liability, including bodily injury and property damage on an occurrence basis.
- Products and completed operations, cross-liability and contractual-liability coverage where applicable.
- Employer’s liability and automobile or non-owned/hired automobile coverage where applicable to the work and transport.
- Coverage limits, deductibles and policy wording acceptable to LiftMarket for the equipment, site and rental risk.
Additional insured and certificate holder
When requested in writing, the certificate must identify the LiftMarket contracting entity and other required parties as certificate holder and/or additional insured for the applicable operations, subject to the policy terms and endorsements.
Review and acceptance
A certificate is evidence of insurance only and does not amend the policy. LiftMarket may request policy endorsements or additional documentation and may reject expired, incomplete or inadequate evidence. Insurance approval does not reduce the customer’s responsibilities under the rental agreement.
Changes or cancellation
The customer must promptly notify LiftMarket of any cancellation, lapse or material reduction in coverage that could affect the rental. Any insurer notice is governed by the policy and endorsement wording; no fixed notice period is implied by this page.
